NOTE: The Bindapt+ 2.0 Monitor has all of the YELLOW Ports on the left of the device enabled. Therefor it can only monitor sensors in the list below. AT ANY TIME the device can be upgraded to Automate by calling Adaptive Agriculture and unlock the WHITE ports including the 3 modular control ports for configurable automations.

Supported Sensor Types

1. In-Bin Grain Cables (Temp & Moisture)

Track the core condition of your grain in real time. These cable readings help benchmark quality, guide aeration, and power automated drying or hydration when you upgrade to full automated grain bin monitoring system

2. Headspace CO₂ & Laser Level Sensor:

  • CO₂ Alerts: Elevated CO₂ levels are one of the earliest indicators of spoilage. The system provides warnings up to 10 days before temperature cables detect trouble, allowing proactive intervention.
  • Laser Inventory: Monitor inventory levels with 1 cm accuracy, ideal for planning, hauling, blending, and sales forecasting.

3. Ambient Sensor (Temp & RH):

Reads outside air conditions to calculate drying and hydration windows. These insights help optimize when and how to run fans or heaters.

4. Plenum Sensor (Temp, RH & Static Pressure):

Positioned between the fan and bin wall, this sensor unlocks deeper analysis and performance data:
  • Advanced Analysis Charts: such as Drying vs. Hydrating, Moisture Trends, and Water Content.
  • Supplemental Heat Control: to extend drying seasons when paired with compatible heaters.
  • Fan Performance Monitoring: translating static pressure into real-world airflow measurements (CFM and CFM/bu).

Supported Control Modules: Upgrade to Automate Device Required

1. Heater+ Module:

Controls construction heaters for supplemental drying. Requires Plenum Sensor and Adapter Plate.

2. Exhaust+ Module:

Automates exhaust fans to reduce headspace humidity—especially useful for oilseeds. Works with Grain Cable Top-Node or Headspace CO₂/Temp/RH sensor.

3. Aeration+ Module:

Automates fan operation for natural air drying, cool-down, and hydration. Ambient Sensor is required; Plenum Sensor recommended for validation and enhanced accuracy.
